James Grant Saturday September 20th.... Tickets On Sale (Rescheduled Tickets to be Re-Issued Soon) - Support From Holly Perkins.....Just Confirmed - Thrum to Play Cropredy (Brasenose Arms)........

Saturday 26th July - Brasenose Arms Cropredy

Monica Queen is a busy woman. Regarded as one of the "greatest ever voices to come out of Scotland" (Gary Lightbody of Snow Patrol) she has been asked to sing in front of 40,000 crowds with Snow Patrol and Belle and Sebastian as well as collaborating on record to produce Belle and Sebastian's fans favourite "Lazy Line Painter Jane". She is also part of the touring band Love and Money, has collaborated with the king of chillout Chris Coco on his "New Wave " record and duetted with Shane Mc Gowan of the Pogues among many others.

Somehow she has still found time for her own music as part of the Neil Young and Crazy Horse inspired rock band Thrum and on the "Monica Queen" solo records that are Daniel Lanois inspired works of beauty incorporating the melancholic electronica, soaring guitar and genius production of her long time collaborator Johnny Smillie with whom she writes and performs with both in Thrum and solo. Thrum recorded an album in San Francisco and were BBC favourites before appearing on the UK C4 legendary music programme "The Word " that also featured Nirvana. They returned last year with the rocking "Elettrorama" .

Monica and Johnny can be country or rock or experimental and electronic. They just go with their muse.
